Aliaksandra Svirelina (b. 1994) is a belarusian artist based in Minsk, working at the intersection of documentary and art photography. Her practice is based on the deep observation of human internal states, which she explores through private spaces captured in time and details. By focusing on the quiet nuances of the everyday, Aliaksandra shifts the viewer’s perspective on the familiar. Her work seeks to transform our emotional relationship with the ordinary, revealing how physical spaces mirror our inner world: from states of numbness and suspension to moments of awareness where we actively connect with our environment.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, graduated from the contemporary school of photography “Docdocdoc” in St. Petersburg.
